Fresh start is a lace cowl, knitted in DK yarn. The lattice work is very open, meaning that this knits up quickly into a relaxed lace fabric, perfect for a little stylish warmth around your neck.

The pattern is very easy to modify by casting on more stitches (in multiples of 6) to make a longer cowl which could be doubled up around the neck, or knitting more pattern repeats to create a deeper cowl which could be used as a hood/snood.
