Laptop sleeves make for a fun, unique project if you’re looking for something outside of the “clothing accessories” category in your knitting repertoire. This project incorporates cables, which not only add visual interest and depth, but also help make the finished sleeve a little thicker, giving your laptop more cushion and protection!

This pattern is worked in the round, eliminating the headache of seaming the sides together. The piece is finished using the Three-Needle Bind-Off.

Any length of circular knitting needles will work for working this piece in the round. The Magic Loop Method can be used for any longer circular needles.

Basic crochet skills are required for this pattern to create the fastening.

“How-Tos” and step-by-step instructions (with pictures) on specific stitches and skills can be found at the bottom of the pattern if you are unsure of a specific technique.
