Freya’s Freedom is a DK weight hat knit in the round with a mirrored cable panel and the rest in stocking stitch making it a quick knit.

It is available in a 56cm size but has been designed to be fairly flexible. It has a folded brim to wear it as a beanie or not folded to be worn as a slouch. For a smaller person, just block it to a smaller size and fold the brim further.

The gauge is a standard 22st over 10cm on 4mm needles. Row gauge is not as important as it is written for lengths rather than specific row counts.

There is a point where you will need two cables needles. It also requires s stitch marker and your preferred method of small circumference knitting for the crown; ie DPN’s or long circulars for magic loop.
