A great stashbuster!

Adorable, squishy, and petite, each one of these fun critters starts with the same basic recipe. You add the personality with strategic color changes and a few finishing details. Simply change an ear, nose, or tail, and you have a different animal. The body is slightly wedge-shaped, so the critter sits upright. You will need a small amount of craft stuffing to fill each critter.

And, try making pocket-sized critters with fingering weight yarn! Check out Adipoo’s pocket size critters.

Skills Needed
Basic sewing, working with stripes, picking up stitches, I-cord

Finished Measurements
About 5 inches (13cm) wide at the base and 5 inches (13cm) high

Yarn
Each critter requires about 35 grams/39 yards (35m) bulky (chunky, 12-ply) weight yarn. I used a mix of yarns: Knit Picks Cadena; City Tweed DK held double; and Palette (held quadruple).
