Friscura Summer Top is a light, airy lace top designed for warm days, slow summer knitting, and cotton yarns that deserve to breathe.

Worked in a chunky cotton yarn on large needles, Friscura combines a simple, straight silhouette with an all-over lace texture that keeps the fabric open, fresh, and surprisingly light on the body. The wide straps, softly rounded neckline, and clean edges give the top an essential, contemporary shape: easy to wear, yet rich in texture.

The construction starts flat from the upper back. The front shoulders are picked up from the back cast-on edge and worked separately to shape the neckline, then joined at the front. Once the front and back are complete, the body is joined in the round and worked straight in lace pattern to the desired length.

This pattern is suitable for intermediate knitters and includes lace worked flat and in the round, picked-up stitches, neckline shaping with M1R and M1L increases, slipped-stitch selvedges, joining in the round, and a suspended bind-off.

Friscura Summer Top è un top traforato leggero e arioso, pensato per le giornate più calde, per il lavoro a maglia lento dell’estate e per quei filati di cotone che meritano di respirare.

Lavorato con un filato di cotone chunky e ferri grandi, Friscura unisce una silhouette semplice e lineare a una lavorazione traforata estesa su tutto il capo, che rende il tessuto aperto, fresco e sorprendentemente leggero da indossare. Le spalline larghe, lo scollo delicatamente arrotondato e i bordi puliti gli conferiscono una linea essenziale e contemporanea: facile da indossare, ma ricca di texture.

La costruzione inizia in piano dalla parte superiore del dietro. Le spalle del davanti vengono riprese dal bordo di avvio del dietro e lavorate separatamente per modellare lo scollo, per poi essere unite sul davanti. Una volta completati il davanti e il dietro, il corpo viene unito in tondo e lavorato diritto nel motivo traforato fino alla lunghezza desiderata.

Il pattern è adatto a chi possiede un livello intermedio e comprende la lavorazione traforata in piano e in tondo, la ripresa delle maglie, la sagomatura dello scollo con aumenti M1R e M1L, i bordi con maglia passata, l’unione del lavoro in tondo e la chiusura sospesa delle maglie.
