Skill Level: Adventurous Beginner
Finished Measurements: 7.5” tall X 24” diameter (approximate)
Yarn: 1 skein Ella Rae Lace Merino DK* 100% Merino Wool; 400 yards (sample is knit with color #16 Green Cat) Use any yarn that will give you the specified gauge (closer to a sock weight than DK). Other yarn suggestions: KnitPicks Hawthorne, MADELINETOSH Tosh Sock; preferably a solid or semi-solid yarn, for best stitch definition.
Needles: 2 - US #4 (16” - 24”) circular knitting needles (OR 1 - 47” for magic loop)
1 - US #4 double pointed needle (OR 1 - cable needle)
Notions: Yarn needle.
6 - stitch markers (1 unique to mark beginning of each round)
Gauge: 7 sts / 1” over stockinette stitch knit circular
