Yarn: 1 skein Ella Rae Lace Merino DK* 100% Merino Wool; 400 yards (sample is knit with color #16 Green Cat) Use any yarn that will give you the specified gauge (closer to a sock weight than DK). Other yarn suggestions: KnitPicks Hawthorne, MADELINETOSH Tosh Sock; preferably a solid or semi-solid yarn, for best stitch definition.
