A Brazen Raven EXCLUSIVE DESIGN
Creative combination of simple cables, seed stitch, yarn overs, left/right decreases, and bobbles - come together to create this Tumbleweed Trail Cowl. Break away from your roots and see where the adventure takes you!
PLEASE NOTE: all knit stitches are worked from right to left, through back loop.
This pattern consists of one main center motif - the tumbleweed, sewing seeds across the Mojave, framed with mirrored twiggy cables. Several rounds of variable ribbing break into CHARTED panels, which are worked 63 rounds to complete the design. A second rib variation finishes the rim and merges into a few rounds of simple stockinette before the cast off.
Skill Level: Intermediate (cables, seed stitch, working in the round)
Finished Measurements: 9” tall X 22” diameter
Yarn: 1 skein MADELINETOSH TOSH MERINO DK, or any semi-solid soft yarn.
Needles:
2 - US #6 / 4.0mm (16” - 24”) circular knitting needles OR 1 - 40” circular knitting needle for Magic Loop method
2 - US #6 / 4.0mm double pointed needles
Notions:

10 - stitch markers (1 unique to mark beginning of each round)
