Watching….waiting…..for Spring to come. A time-honored tradition in Vermont and other northern places….first the snow melts, then the mud comes and the sap starts running, and finally – the flowers come. Tulips are often the first batch of color, along with the daffodils, that we’ve seen on the ground plane for months. As much as we want it to be warm, it’s still a little chilly and we need that extra layer around the shoulders and neck to ward off the Spring breezes.

This unisex pattern is one size only. It is knit bottom-up, in the round, with decreases at the sides to create a slightly A-line shape. It is a textured knit, with cables in the main body, and stranded colorwork in the yoke to create the flowers.
