Description

Frost Flower Socks are knitted from the cuff to the toe.

You begin with an italian cast on and knit a twisted rib in the round.

The lace pattern on the leg and top of the foot is knitted following a chart. The bottom of the foot is knitted in stockinette.

The heel is a gusset heel. First you knit the heel flap, then the heel turn and then you pick up stitches along the flap to form the gusset.

Size Guide

The size of the socks are adjusted by changing the tension. This is in order to attain the same lace pattern in all sizes.

The tension in stockinette for the 3 sizes are:
Size 6-6½: 29 sts x 40 rows
Size 7-7½: 28 sts x 38 rows
Size 8-8½: 27 sts x 36 rows
