This sweater is inspired by a similar, yellow sweater worn by the actress Jessica Raine (who plays Jennifer Lee) in the BBC TV series Call the Midwife. The pattern stitch is called “Frost flowers”. There are other versions of this kind of sweater available on Ravelry, including but not limited to Rowan’s “Samos”, the “Frost flowers top” and Susan Crawford’s “Ladies Evening Jumper”. I do not own these patterns, and designed my own version from scratch, omitting the puffed sleeves of the TV version I was inspired by. This pattern is offered for free, on a “as is” basis.

Yarn requirements: 100 g Drops Lace or other similar laceweight yarn. (= 2 50 g balls)

Gauge: 26 st over 16 rows to 10 cm2 square

Measurements:

Height: 53 cm (Can be made longer if desired: add half a pattern repeat)

Width at bust: 37 cm (to fit bust 81-86 cm)
