Frost Warning
This pattern includes a Sport Weight Version and a Worsted Weight version. I can only put one versions information in the informational portion of this pattern. The Worsted Weight requirements and information are below.
The sweater is knit from the bottom up (the top down version is named Storm Warning). I chose to knit it this way because I think the yoke pattern looks better when it’s running straight across the front and back.
This would be a good beginner bottom up sweater, since the patterning is minimal.
The sleeves are picked up and worked down.
Short rows are worked across the back, below the armhole. This helps the sweater hang even.
Sizing
Sport Weight - Finished Chest measurement: 32, 34, 36”, 38, 40 4, 44, 46, 48, 50, 55.5, 60 inches.
Worsted Weight - Finished Chest measurement: Worsted Weight - Finished Chest measurement: 36.5, 38, 40, 43, 45, 48, 51, 54.5, 57.5, 60.5, 64 inches

Any Sport Weight Yarn – photo is knit with Finullgarn.
1300, 1400, 1540, 1600 (1740, 1920, 2020, 2120) 2220, 2360, 2640, 2900 yards
Any Worsted Weight Yarn – photo is knit with Berroco Mercado

Sport Weight Version – 6 sts. and 8.5 rows to 1”
Worsted Weight Version – 5 sts. and 7 rows to 1”
