We designed this hat 5 years ago, basing it on the Hudson Bay Point Blanket.
If you take out the gray stripes (or leave them in). Since we already had it designed, we thought we would offer it for free for anyone that wants to knit a resistance hat.

It takes one skein of Rios which is 210 yards. This is enough to make the tassle and icord.

We knit it at 5.5 to the inch so it would be tightly knit and warm. (We live very far north in Minnesota and get many days of sub zero temps). You could also use a DK weight yarn.

Needle size 5 in 16” circular and double points (or magic loop) for the top decreasing.
