Frosted Gingerbread Socks
The Frosted Gingerbread Socks pattern was designed in collaboration with Beth at Beehive Yarns for her Christmas Eve Cast-on Box for 2025.
Inspired by a tray of fresh gingerbread cooling on a windowsill dusted with snow, the Frosted Gingerbread socks pairs the glow of baked caramel tones with the cool serenity of soft, rustic blue. A yarn and pattern for fireside moments, hand-knit heirlooms and quiet holiday mornings. The palette features caramel spice, soft-as-cashmere blue, and soft cocoa speckles.
They are knitted cuff-down using a slip stitch heel flap, and square heel turn construction on the gusset, and my Swirl Toe, but feel free to substitute your own particular favourites.
The pattern is suitable for beginner knitters through to more experienced knitters.
This is a written pattern (without charts).
