Isn’t there just something so exciting about a walk in the crisp morning air?
When I started dreaming up these fingerless mitts, I kept thinking about all the chilly walks I have taken with my toddler over the years, always finding new paths and picking up little treasures along the way.
The cables on these mitts remind me of winding paths and I hope they will accompany you and keep your hands warm on many occasions.
I truly wish you enjoy these fingerless gloves as much as I did, whether for yourself or as a gift for a loved one.
xx Julia

These mittens feature a cable pattern on the back and a broken rib texture pattern on the inside of the hand which creates a nice and stretchy fabric.
The pattern uses charts for both the cable and broken rib pattern.
The cables can be knit with or without a cable needle depending on your personal preference.

Your mitten size will always depend a bit on the desired negative ease (i.e. whether you like a tighter or more loose-fitting mitt), but: in general the sizes should approximately work for the following hand circumference measured around your knuckles:
small: 18cm
medium: 19.75cm
large: 21.5cm
