This is a simple sock design for those of you who want “vanilla“ (=plain, easy) sock knitting but also a tiny bit of interest.

The tiny cables give your socks a little bit of visual interest and are very fun to knit (no cable needle necessary, by the way), while still producing a very wearable and subtle sock.

You can knit these socks as long as you like or turn them into pretty pair of quick shortie socks.

As usual, my pattern is very much a “recipe“ which means I will give you my way of knitting these socks but you can experiment with different heels, cuffs, toes and make the socks to your liking!

Enjoy!
