A mitten pattern need not be difficult to be beautiful. This mitten is easy to make, with a simple column of seed stitch running up the back of each for interest, the addition of a strand of kid silk to the cuff for colour and softness, and a lining knit in a soft and warm alpaca merino blend. A tiny snowflake charm has been sewn onto the mitten for added interest, but this is purely optional. Cozy and pretty, you will reach for these mittens on your way out the front door.
You will need 1 skein each of Santa Cruz, Silky Kid, and Alpaca Merino DK, though you will have enough of the last two yarns to make a second pair of mittens for someone else.
