Mittens are usually thought of as functional, and they are, but these are also pretty! Who doesn’t need a little sparkle in the middle of a dreary winter?
Easy to knit, with cables making them a little more interesting to knit than their plain cousin, the Winter Walk Mittens, these mittens also have some sparkly glass beads sewn into the crevices created by the cable work.
You will need one skein of each of the two yarns to complete these mittens.
The pattern calls for dpns, but if you prefer, you can use a circular needle and the Magic Loop method.
You will also need approximately 35 6/0 seed beads, in a complimentary colour. I went with clear glass beads on mine, they remind me of the way snow glitters in the moonlight.
