Frozen Dream
This headband is simple yet attractive using an easy lace pattern. Ideal for keeping your ears warm on a cold day or as an attractive accessory all year round. The pattern is both written and charted. It is worked flat and then seamed at the end although you could easily use a provisional cast on and work a Kitchener stitch to graft it together if you prefer.
Ideal for knitters who want a gentle introduction to lace knitting.
Using DK yarn and these needles at this gauge produces a dense fabric. You may prefer to make it lacier by using larger needles or thinner yarn, although this may change the overall width of the headband.
The stitch gauge is much more important than the row gauge as you can simply do as many pattern repeats as required to reach the right length.
I used ~60g (120m) of yarn to make a headband of overall length 55cm unstretched.
