Frozen Seaweed

Frozen Seaweed is a heart-shape shawl knitted from the top down. I modified a vintage stitch pattern to cover the wrap in twists and ladders that remind me of the seaweed that is ever present (and some years, prolific) along the shoreline. Work the design from charts or the full written instructions, and use yarn weights from light worsted to bulky. Be sure to adjust your yarn requirements when making substitutions.

Materials used for sample (weighs 260g):
Malabrigo Rios
3 skeins Yerba
a row counter is helpful for this pattern
