Size guide
Fruit Cardigan Junior should be worked with approx. 10–16 cm of positive ease. The table below gives age groups based on average chest measurements, but all children are different, and it is therefore recommended that you choose the size by chest measurement rather than by age. Measure the child’s chest under the arms at the widest point, usually around the tummy. If you are in doubt, or if the child’s chest measurement falls between two sizes, choose the larger size.
Example: If the child (regardless of age) has a chest measurement of 56 cm 22″, choose size 3, which has a chest circumference of 69 cm 27¼”.
