This design features a rainbow of colorwork fruit motifs along the sock. They’re bright, fun, and perfect for using up leftover yarn.

The socks are knitted top down from cuff to toe, beginning with a 2x2 ribbing cuff. The leg and foot sections feature stranded colorwork in the round, and the short row heel uses a wrap and turn construction. The toe is shaped by decreases and then grafted together.

• 2.5 mm (US 1.5) circular needles

Note: This pattern was designed to be knitted in the round on 80 cm circular needles using the magic loop technique and instructions are written accordingly, but feel free to adjust for a different length cord or DPNs if that is your preference.

Yarn:

This pattern was designed and knitted with Gründl Hot Socks Uni in Weiß (White) and Kaminrot (Red); Gründl Hot Socks Merino in Zitronengelb (Yellow); Filcolana Arwetta in Juicy Green (Green), Deep Mahogany (Brown), Thistle Flower (Purple), and Hibiscus (Pink); and Lana Grossa Meilenweit in Kobaltblau (Blue). It requires the following approximate quantities.

• White: 35 g / 147 m / 161 yds (45 g / 189 m / 207 yds, 60 g / 252 m / 276 yds)
• Red: 4 g / 17 m / 19 yds
• Orange: 6 g / 26 m / 29 yds (7 g / 30 m / 33 yds, 7 g / 30 m / 33 yds)
• Yellow: 4 g / 16 m / 18 yds (4 g / 16 m / 18 yds, 5 g / 21 m / 23 yds)
• Green: 7 g / 30 m / 33 yds (7 g / 30 m / 33 yds, 8 g / 34 m / 38 yds)
• Blue: 4 g / 17 m / 19 yds (5 g / 21 m / 23 yds, 5 g / 21 m / 23 yds)
• Purple: 4 g / 17 m / 19 yds
• Pink: 3 g / 13 m / 15 yds

The socks can also be made with any other fingering weight yarn that can achieve the correct gauge.
