Fugue is worked in the round from the top down seamlessly, starting at the neckline. The circular yoke is worked in a simple and beautiful textured stitch pattern. It ends with a few raglan increases.
The body and sleeves are separated at the underarms and work separately in Stockinette stitch.
The back is shaped twice using short rows to lengthen it, improve the fit and comfort. Then sleeves stitches are picked up and worked in the round in Stockinette stitch.
The length of the body and sleeves are easily modified to suit your own body measurements.

Yardage

Gauge
• 23 sts x 30 rounds = 10x10 cm/ 4x4 inches of Stockinette stitch in the round on larger needles, after blocking.

Please note the whole pattern is worked in the round. It is recommended to knit your swatch in the round to check your gauge.

In the pattern, all key measurements are given in cm and inches. As long as the differences remain reasonable, choose a swatch with the correct number of sts (width).

Needles
• 4 mm US 6 circular needles for the body and sleeves.
• 3,5 mm US 4 circular needles for ribbing.

Always use a needle size that gives you the right gauge, adjust if necessary.

Fugue se tricote en circulaire du haut vers le bas (top-down) sans couture en commençant par l’encolure. L’empiècement circulaire est travaillé avec un motif de point texturé. Il se termine par des augmentations disposées en raglan.
Le corps et les manches sont séparés sous les emmanchures travaillés séparément en jersey. Les manches sont reprises et tricotées ensuite en circulaire en jersey.
Le dos est façonné à deux reprises à l’aide de rangs raccourcis pour le rallonger, améliorer la coupe et le confort

L’ensemble des finitions sont faites en côtes semi-torses.

Échantillon 
• 23 mailles x 30 rangs en jersey endroit pour un carré tricoté de 10 cm par 10 cm après blocage.

Attention l’ensemble de l’ouvrage est tricoté en circulaire, il est préférable de réaliser un échantillon en rond.

Matériel 
• Aiguille circulaire en 4 mm ou de la taille nécessaire pour obtenir le bon échantillon.
• Aiguille circulaire en 3,5 mm pour les finitions des manches et de l’encolure.

Utilisez toujours une taille d’aiguille qui vous permet d’obtenir le bon échantillon, au besoin, ajustez-la.
