This is a pattern for Furret, from Pokemon! It’s a loooong doll that sits nicely on your shoulder, or drapes across your desk. The size makes it great for using up old scraps of fabric and yarn to save on fiberfill.

The gauge provided is the generic gauge for Caron Simply Soft and a 4mm hook, but gauge is not important to this work. It’s more important that you use a hook that gives you a firm, tight weave to ensure there aren’t gaps that expose the stuffing. If you use a different yarn, be sure to make test swatches to ensure you’re using an appropriate hook.
