Long, shallow triangle with the motif going right to edge - the construction I call “zipknit” - not a classic triangle.

For spectacular effects, when you play with Game of Tones, you don’t have to dye ….

You need one solid and then contrasting yarn - some things you might like to try:

  • striping yarn like Noro
  • gradient yarn or gradient set
  • 3-4 colours of leftover yarn (allow about 100m of each)
  • different yarn weights for a textured and tonal effect

Any yarn weight from fingering - aran - just use a needle size to give you a nice lofty texture.

Generally allow a total of about 500m/550yds, but you can use:

total of 400m/440 yds for a smaller version
total of 600m/660 yds for a huge version.
