Winter is coming. Best be prepared by knitting these dense, warm, Game of Thrones inspired gloves, Show your allegiance to House Stark of Winterfell and look good doing it. These convertible mitts are sure to keep your hands toasty while showing your inner nerdy side. Instructions come in 3 sizes with options for closed or open thumbs.

Sizes: Adult Small (Medium, Large)
Needles: Size US 0 (2.0 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge. 32” or longer circular needle suggested to work in magic loop, as that will make the most sense with the pattern instructions, but you can use double pointed needles or 9” circulars if preferred.
Yarn: 200 grams of fingering weight yarn (100 grams each of Main Color and Contrasting Color). Pictured mittens were knit in Knit Picks Palette, colors Wallaby and Black.
Additional Materials: yarn needle for weaving in ends. Optional: buttons or snaps to create a fastener for the mitt top, clippable stitch markers, conductive thread for the closed thumb.
Gauge: 11.5 stitches/inch (26 stitches over 4 inches) and 12 rounds/inch (48 rounds over 4 inches)
