Gárasavvon is a colorful sweater inspired by the patterns found in traditional Sámi mittens from Karesuando. The Karesuando mitten is traditionally worked with a red background combined with blue, yellow and green.

Gárasavvon is a unisex sweater worked from the bottom up with raglan decreases. The sweater is worked in the round in stockinette stitch and stranded colorwork. The pattern includes two options for shaping the neckline.
