This beanie is named for a girls’ trip I took to Utah this past summer. We of course had to seek out and visit all the local yarn shops! We visited Willow Hill Yarn Co in Gardner Village, just outside Salt Lake City. It’s such a great shop, and I came across some Hedgehog Fibres sock minis in the ‘Guppy’ colorway…..I instantly knew I wanted to pair them up with something for a fun beanie! I grabbed some neutral Malabrigo Rios worsted weight to pair with the minis (because I looooove Malabrigo anything, duh!). Once I made my match, the Gardner Village Hat was born. It knits up so squishy with the yarns held together, and has a folded brim so you can wear it slouchy or fitted. Make your own yarn match (and maybe even use up some yarn in your stash) and knit one of these babes up for yourself!

This is a BEGINNER-INTERMEIDATE knitting pattern and is knit in the round from the bottom up with both yarns held together.
