What you will need:
The yarn needs to be sturdy, something equivalent to Caron One Pound or Red Heart Super Saver
(For the Main color Caron One Pound will hold shape & support the weight of the cylinders best).

Steampunk Gas Mask
Main color of mask: 280yds, Worsted Weight(4),CaronOnePound= Black
Contrasting Color: 160yds, Worsted Weight(4), Red Heart Super Saver= Gold

Pastel Rose Gas Mask
Main color of mask: 320yds, Worsted Weight(4), Red Heart Super Saver =Minty
Contrasting Color: 260yds, Worsted Weight(4), Caron One Pound= Soft Pink

• H hook (5mm)
• G hook (4mm)
• For 5 strap open back option: 1 1/4” rectangular metal strap adjusters with slide bar, you will need 4.
• Scissors
• Yarn or tapestry needle
• Stuffing for cylinders
• Stitch markers
• Sewing pins
• Optional: Fabric Paint/dye +paintbrush or eyeshadow (for steampunk style), Styrofoam head (I use mine when sewing pieces on), screw back stud spikes (You will need a screwdriver for spikes, but sometimes they are different so wait till they come in to see what you need), cogs, glue (your preference). Links are given in the pattern for the spikes and adjusters I used.
