This is a Pattern aka a digital download not a finished item please do not purchase if you don’t know what a pattern is. Digital items are non refundable.

The Luna Rae hood is designed to be a bit oversized. The entire pattern is worked double stranded (except for the eyes) so it works up fairly quick  There are photos to help out with portions of the pattern that I felt needed them.

I’m using Caron One Pound because it’s a “sturdy” yarn and holds the shape well. RHSS is also good. Studio Classic BY NICOLE works nicely for the hood, but when doing the bone structure for the wings it’s a bit floppy.
I don’t suggest using ILTY or Caron Simply Soft. It won’t turn out well.

Gauge for hood:
2 strands & N hook (10mm):11 hdc= 5”. 4 rows =3“
If you want your hood to be smaller you can go down a hook size to get: 12 hdc= 5”
If you want your hood to be larger you can go up a hook size to get: 10 hdc= 5”
