The Gathering Point Cushion is worked from four mitred squares, joined as you go to form a cross at the centre of the cushion front. Each square is shaped using centred decreases in stockinette stitch, creating clean diagonal lines towards the middle. A consistent two-row stripe is done across the entire cushion front.
