A simple ribbed hat, featuring mini-cables that can be accomplished without the use of a cable needle. The cable rib patterned hat has a lot of stretch and hugs your head, and so makes it easy to fit. Try knitting it up in the gorgeous semi-solid collection from Kenyarn!

You will need:
100 gram DK weight yarn. Sample uses Kenyarn Merino DK in Red Flags.
Size 6 US, 16” circular needle and size 6 US double pointed needles, or longer circular needle for magic loop method for the crown of the hat.
Scissors and tapestry needle for finishing.
Optional pom pom.

Gauge: 22 sts over 4”

Sizes: Child, S/M, L (To fit a head circumference of about 19”, 21”, 23”)
