This simple, elegant stitch pattern keeps things interesting, and will motivate you to finish these socks in no time! Knitted from the top down, with a traditional heel flap and gusset, these socks make a great project to try out cables.

You will need:
100 gram skein of sock yarn. Pictured sample uses Jilly and Kiddles Fancy Sock in Lavender Smoke.
Size 1US needles for knitting in the round (double pointed needles, or longer circular needle for magic loop method, as preferred). You may choose to use a smaller or larger needle to get correct gauge, but a size 1 needle is a good place to start.
Cable needle.
Scissors and a blunt needle for finishing.

Gauge: 36 sts over 4” in pattern.

Size: Women’s M.
