Any yarn weight or brand can be used to crochet this cushion cover - when made with DK weight yarn, the cushion cover, with both pieces joined together, measures approximately 40 cm square (16 inches square). The amount of yarn used (DK weight yarn) is approximately 432 grams (16 ounces) or 648 metres (710 yards); with the main colour requiring 252 grams (9 ounces) or 378 metres (414 yards); and the contrast colour using 180 grams (7 ounces) or 270 metres (296 yards).
