The Gemstone cowl is a simple to knit, lace cowl. Starting with a provisional cast on, and knit straight, the ends are then grafted together to create a cowl. You may choose to knit it long enough to wrap around your neck a few times, or short to wear loose.

With simple garter edging this cowl is easy to wear, cosy and a great accessory to compliment any outfit.

Gauge is unimportant for this pattern, instead, ensure that you are happy with the fabric you are producing. Suggested needle sizes are given.
