Geometric Mandala hotpad is a very simple and easy to make project. It consists of two parts: lace front and circle bottom in different shades - the possibilities are endless.

Using yarn in different weights will influence the size of finished mandala. And you can use it as a wall hanging decoration, applique for a pillow cover (with lace part only), trivet or a potholder.

Please, read more information about this design HERE.

Level: Advanced Beginner

Materials: Aran/Light worsted yarn in 2 contrasting colors. I used Cahlista yarn by Scheepjes (85 yrds for front and 105 yrds for bottom), crochet hook 4.5 mm (US7), scissors, tapestry needle to weave yarn tail in.

Gauge: after 9 rounds lace mandala measures 9cm (3.5 inches) in diameter.

Finished size: The size of the finished mandala depends on the yarn and hook you use. My mandala is approx. 28 cm (11 inches) in diameter.

There are two copies of the pattern offered to download: one is very detailed with many pictures, and second copy is printer friendly (with written instructions only and no pictures).
