The Georgetown Puff-Stitch pattern is written in the round from top to bottom using a 4-hdc puff stitch. It can be made into a regular or slouchy style beanie depending on the length used and is available in six sizes (toddler - adult). The Georgetown features a wide hat band that is both stylish and functional and can be customized with or without a pom-pom and buttons.

Skills: Chain, single crochet, puff stitch, double crochet, back post double crochet, front post double crochet, slip stitch, invisible join, working the round, increasing, sewing.

Materials:
Medium Weight Yarn - Red Heart Super Saver Grey Heather (448 yards)
Sewing tape measure
Yarn needle & Scissors
Pom-Pom Maker – Clover, no. 3128 or equivalent
2 Hairbands (optional)
1-2.5” buttons (optional)

Gauge: The diameter of three rounds of PS working with a 5.5 mm (I) hook = 4.5”.

Sizes: Toddler to Adult M (six sizes)
• Infant 6-12 mo: 16.5” - 18” head circumference
• Toddler 1-3 yr: 17” - 19” head circumference
• 4-12 yr: 18” - 20” head circumference
• Teen (S): 18” - 20” head circumference
• Adult Medium (M): 21” - 23” head circumference
• Adult Large (L): 23” - 25” head circumference
