The best thing about having best friends is getting to adopt their kids (young and old) as nieces or nephews. This pattern is for baby Georgia.

Many thanks to Kerrie Toohey (Georgia’s mum) and Mariola Malinowska for their invaluable feedback during proofreading the English pattern and testing of the chart.

This pattern is for intermediate to advance crocheters. The thing which makes it challenging is the special puff stitch row. Practice this first! I also highly recommend that you attempt my free patterns of Daisy chain, Cockles of my heart, and Klaziena first, as there are elements from those design in this.

This pattern includes a triangular shawl design, and a rectangular shawl design. The rectangular repeating pattern can be used for anything from a shawl, pillow/cushion cover, table runner, table cloth, placemat, dresser cover, or as a larger item for across the end of the bed.

I used approximately two Scheepjes Whirl in Raspberry Rocky Roads to produce 5 repeats. A whirl and a whirlette will make 4 repeats.

There is also now a square version of this design, available at:
