This is the square version of my Klaziena Shawl triangle and rectangle pattern.

The pattern is designed to repeat, so you can make one-repeat square to join together with others or continue the repeating pattern until the desired size of afghan is achieved.

This pattern is for intermediate to advanced crocheters. The thing which makes it a challenge is the increasing in the corner. I recommend that you attempt the shawl version first, but all instructions are contained in this document.

A cardigan can also be made. See my Georgia Squared Ravelry page for an example:

Pictured item is a single square repeat.
Yarn: Lincraft Supersoft, 50% Micro acrylic 50% Micro nylon, Mint. About 310m will do a one-repeat square.
Hook: 4.0mm
