This is an intermediate pattern, not for the beanie itself, but for the flower on the top. Indeed, the beanie and the gerbera are crochet separately, and the the flower is sewn to the top of the beanie.

However do not worry, the pattern contains a photo tutorial and images to help you through the gerbera pattern and how to fix it to the beanie.

Your hard work will then be rewarded: the result is great, the gerbera will not go unnoticed!

Used techniques: Magic Ring, Single crochet, Double Half Crochet, Slip Stitch, Chain, Back Post Single Crochet, Reverse Stitch.

About yarns:
I used Summer Cloud by Hobbii for the beanie (there are a lot of colors to choose from) and a microfiber for the gerbera.

The total amount of yarn indicated in the description is for the beanie (depending on the size), and then you will be needing extra yarn for the Gerbera (approx 40gr).

Indicated gauge is for the beanie as well.

You can make your own selection of yarn composition, as long as it meets the gauge, but I suggest to choose a yarn with some cotton in it, so that it will not be too warm for spring time.
