This lacy cowl is deceptively sweet. It is beautifully warm and soft with a simple lacy texture. You will know the truth, though. This lovely little cowl is actually encoded with the title phrase. It’s perfect for the misanthrope in all of us. The pattern is written for 3 sizes. The smallest is a close-fitting neck warmer, and the next two sizes can be wrapped 2 or 3 times, respectively.

This is a great pattern for anyone who is new to lace knitting, or who wants a fun, quick project.
