Gibson Ruffle Blouse
The Gibson Ruffle Blouse is inspired by the style and silhouette of the late 19th- and early 20th century; specifically the iconic Gibson Girls. It is knit top-down with a twisted rib neckline that closes with a button at the back. It has an elegant lace- and seed stitch panel at the chest, and an airy, romantic ruffle of mohair silk is picked up at the end. The sleeves are blousing bishop sleeves over a tall cuff of twisted rib – a silhouette straight out of the turn of the century. The body is cropped and fitted, and the hem is knit in twisted rib.
