The Gift Mittens are knitted in two colours using a worsted weight
yarn. (200m/100g)
It is well suited as a first colourwork project, with a short, repetitive pattern that make the knitting both rhythmic and easy to
follow without long floats. The pattern can also be appreciated by more experienced knitters, and the combination of colourwork and wool yarn creates a warm and durable garment, with the thumb gusset contributing to a good fit. The design is unisex and available in two adult sizes. The Latvian braids and the corrugated ribbing make the cuff a beautiful detail, but if they feel complicated to knit, a simple ribbed cuff works just as well.

The cuff can be worked with 0.5 mm smaller needles than the gauge needles.
