In honor of the release of ‘Go Tell the Bees that I am Gone’, the ninth book in the Outlander series, this Tunisian color work cowl depicts a honeycomb pattern. The first Outlander book, initially titled Cross Stitch, is also referenced using cross-stitch in the cowl borders. Worked in the round, the color changes are achieved through the use of different stitches that bring the pull-through yarn either to the front or the back of the work. This means that there are no yarn floats or carries in this pattern and that the wrong side, although different, looks as finished as the right side. Made with two skeins of Honey Sport yarn from Honey Girl Farms, in colors Sassenach (Claire) and Ginger (Jamie), let’s hope that Claire and Jamie remain together in this new book!
