Bath time at grandmas house is always fun but with Ginger and Georgey Gingerbread Bath Mitts it will be a blast!

Ginger and Georgey are knit in Mary Maxim Scrub It yarn. It is soft and pliable and yet retains the scrubby feel that makes for a great bath mitt. Each of the Gingerbread children takes about 90 yds of various colours of yarn. The choice is yours but there are several suitable colors available in this yarn and it is easy to create suitable outfits for the children. The faces, hair and the assembly are created using Patons Grace cotton yarn. I embroidered the faces and stitched all seams with buttonhole stitch in Patons Grace.
This is a simple pattern that is straight forward knitting and easy for even a beginner knitter to complete.
Photos are included to show how to make the unique hairdo on the twins and detailed instructions are given for each of the mitts separately.
Make bath time for your grandchildren something to remember this holiday season. They are sure to be delighted with Ginger and Georgey and the wee hotel sized bars of soap hidden in her apron and the front picket of his blue jeans..
