Gingerbread Pet Sweater

This gingerbread man inspired pet (dog or cat) sweater is knit in the round seamlessly from the top down. It features white frosting and candy cane designs throughout. Fair Isle stranding is used and no more than two contrasting colors at a time.

Bobbles are used to represent candies and are formed using a crochet hook technique to attach scrap colored yarn in various colors. There is a photo tutorial and YouTube instructional video, link included in instructions.

Techniques used:
BCO: backwards cast on
M1L: make one left-leaning stitch, increase by 1 stitch
K2TOG: knit 2 together, decrease by 1 stitch
