This adorable Giraffe Earflap Hat is a free crochet pattern on my blog!

A playful giraffe earflap hat in 6 sizes, from newborn to teen (adult small). It’s part of the Wildlife Animal Hat series.

The hat is worked top-down in the round in double crochet, using the DC All Day Beanie as its base, with earflaps worked from the bottom edge. A single crochet border in brown finishes the edge.

The giraffe details are worked separately and sewn on:
Two-color ears, stuffed horns, two spot shapes worked in rows, three-color cartoon eyes with an embroidered highlight, muzzle, nostrils, cheeks, and braided yarn ties finish each earflap. All features are crocheted, with no safety eyes or buttons.
