• A US #5, 16-inch circular needles
• A US #7, 16-inch circular needles
• A set of US #7 double pointed needles (or US #7, 32-inch circular
needles for magic loop method)
• 4 stitch markers (one a different colour from the others)
• Optional: A US# 6 straight needle for the Long Tail Tubular Cast-
On
• About 200 - 250 yards (183 - 229 meters) total of worsted/aran
wool yarn, in four different colours. You will need about 164
yards (150 meters) of the main colour.

Gauge:
Body: 20 stitches x 28 rounds = 4 x 4 inches in stockinette stitch on
larger needles
Ribbing: 24 stitches x 32 rounds = 4 x 4 inches in 1 x 1 rib
(unstretched) on smaller needles
