This cropped, boxy T-shirt is knitted in simple Stockinette Stitch. The pattern is perfect for learning basic sweater-knitting elements such as short rows, increasing and picking up stitches.

Length from Underarm to Hem (cropped): 6” / 15 cm all sizes.
Sleeve Length from Cuff to Underarm: 2” / 5 cm.
Upper Arm Circumference: 15 (16, 17.5, 19, 20.75) (21.5, 23.25, 24.25)“ / 37.5 (40, 43.5, 47.5, 52) (53.5, 58, 61) cm.
MATERIALS
Yarn: 3 (3, 4, 4, 4) (5, 5, 5) skeins of Bomulin by Isager (65% cotton, 35% linen, 230 yds / 210 m – 50 g), colourway 58.
3 (3, 4, 4, 4) (5, 5, 6) skeins of Silk Mohair by Isager (75% kid mohair, 25% silk, 232 yds / 212 m – 25 g), colourway 58.
The yarns are held together throughout the pattern.If you decide to use another yarn, you will need approx. 565 (630, 700, 775, 850) (935, 1030, 1135) yds / 520 (580, 645, 710, 780) (855, 945, 1040) m of light-fingering-weight yarn and approx. 590 (655, 730, 810, 890) (980, 1075, 1185) yds / 540 (600, 670, 745, 815) (900, 985, 1085) m of lace-weight yarn.
Needles: US 2.5 / 3 mm 16” / 40 cm circular needles (for neckband and sleeves), US 2.5 / 3 mm 48” / 120 cm circular needles (for yoke and body).
Notions: Stitch markers, stitch holders or waste yarn.
GAUGE
22 sts and 26 rows to 4” / 10 cm on US 2.5 / 3 mm in Stockinette Stitch knitted in the round holding both yarns together, after blocking.
MODIFICATIONS
You can also knit the sweater with only one strand of yarn. For the one-stranded version, you will need approx. 565 (630, 700, 775, 850) (935, 1030, 1135) yds / 520 (580, 645, 710, 780) (855, 945, 1040) m of sport-weight yarn.
CONSTRUCTION
This sweater is worked top down in the round. The tee has a boxy fit and raglan sleeves. All the edges on the neckline, sleeves and hem are double-folded and hand-sewn in the end.
