Glacier Melt depicts a polar bear adrift in the ocean, with mountains in the background.

These mittens are approximately 7.5” circumference at the given gauge. The length is 7.5” (not including the cuff), and an additional chart is provided to extend the length by approximately 1”.

The pattern assumes familiarity with stranded knitting in the round, reading a colorwork chart, picking up stitches, duplicate stitch, and basic mitten construction. Please note that there are long floats in the colorwork.

Sample used 140 yards of Knit Picks Hawthorne Fingering in Goose Hollow, 111 yards of Knit Picks Palette in Cream, and 1 yard of Knit Picks Palette in Ash.
