Glamourina CCS Blouse
Glamourina CCS - Chic, Casual & Sophisticated blouse
A feminine blouse with a shaped boat neck. The understated glamour is enhanced with a subtle glitter thread.
The blouse is worked from the top down and has 0 cm positive ease across the shoulders and upper chest. Are You between size go for the smaller size and follow the tip to increase more over the lower body if that is needed.
The sleeves are also slim fitted, and the body has a slight A line shape over the waist and down to the hip bone. The back is longer than the front. Large rib sections emphasize the elegance of the design.
The construction is a partial compound raglan, with the raglan lines highlighted by a purl ridge. Additional elements have been added, which I have developed over time, to improve the fit — including alternative methods of working short rows to shape the neckline.
The blouse uses partly twisted rib. This is what is stated in the pattern, but you may also work a standard 1×1 rib. The appearance will differ slightly from what is shown and may also be a bit more elastic and round the neck sits more narrow. The neckline is knitted last to ensure better support for the wider neckline on the shoulders.
As all bodies are different, the pattern includes tips along the way for adjusting the fit to suit you as well as possible. Therefore, it is recommended to try on the blouse several times during the knitting process.
The pattern uses 3 threads held together. Between 6-9 skeins of the Biolana Fine from Mondiale, between 5-7 skeins of the kid seta and 2-3 skeins of the Rico design “Make it blümchen”
